With over 365 beaches, there is a slice of white sand heaven for every day of the year - even a leap year - on the idyllic Caribbean holiday island Antigua, which played host to Admiral Horatio Nelson's fleet in the late 1700's. Nelson's Dockyard now bustles with crew and passengers from yachts and cruise ships sailing these waters for pleasure rather than for King and Country.
Day 11: 22nd April 2011 St. Maarten
An island with a split personality, this is one of the few places in the Caribbean where the European powers co-existed peacefully. Hence, this lovely island is a mixture of Dutch, French and Caribbean tastes and delights.
Day 12: 23rd April 2011 St. Lucia
The charms of this, the loveliest of Caribbean islands, are many and varied. Soufriere is the world's only drive-in volcano; Marigot Bay is almost unbelievably pretty and the Creole cuisine is rightly famed throughout the Caribbean.
Day 13: 24th April 2011 Barbados, Caribbean Islands

There are more than twenty miles of beaches extending round nine glorious bays.
Day 22: 3rd May 2011 Acapulco, Mexico
There is no doubt that Acapulco is one of the world's greatest resorts. Ringed by mountains and fringed with glorious beaches, the city's site is superb. This is the place to sample a margarita whilst swaying to the strains of the mariachi music or shop for handicrafts, local art and designer fashions. And no visit to Acapulco would be complete without seeing the famous death-defying divers plunging nearly130 feet past the jagged rocks into a small crevice at La Quebrada.
