Day 2: 28th January 2011 Buenos Aires, Argentina
Birthplace of the Tango, and known as the Paris of the South, this cosmopolitan business center is rich in charm and culture. There are opera houses, museums and cathedrals that rival any in Europe. Puerto Madero, the city's oldest port, has been transformed into a vibrant restaurant and boutique center.

Day 4: 30th January 2011 Transfer from Hotel to Ship
Day 5: 31st January 2011 At sea
Day 6: 1st February 2011 At sea
Day 7: 2nd February 2011 Port Stanley, Falkland Islands
The English and the Argentineans aren't the only ones who lay claim to these rocky outcrops north of the Strait of Magellan. Trout, whales, black-browed albatrosses, elephant seals, sea lions, and no fewer than five species of penguin also consider the Falklands their bequeathed domain
Day 8: 3rd February 2011 At sea
Day 9: 4th February 2011 Elephant Island, Antarctica
This uninhabited island is just off the coast of Antarctica and a well-placed area for nature lovers.
Day 10: 5th February 2011 Gerlache Straight
It was the Belgium Antarctic Expedition that first explored this beautiful strait in 1898, and named it after their ship, Belgica. It was later renamed for the command of the mission, Lt. Adrian de Gerlache. This famous strait separates the Palmer Archipelago from the Antarctic Peninsula and provides visitors with calving icebergs, whales, seals, and plenty of penguins.
Day 11: 6th February 2011 Paradise Bay, Antarctica
Towering mountains, majestic glaciers, Gentoo penguins, blue-eyed cormorants - these are a few of the spectacular sights in Paradise Bay. With the most incredible panoramic vistas and abundant wildlife on land and sea, be ready with your camera, as this place lives up to its name. Many varieties of seals and whales can also be found here.
Day 12: 7th February 2011 At sea
Day 13: 8th February 2011 Ushuaia, Argentina
Surrounded on three sides by towering peaks, this former penal colony hardly seems like a suitable site to exact justice from the scourge of society. Certainly, even the scientifically inclined Charles Darwin must have had a difficult time leaving this Eden during his travels through the area.
Day 14: 9th February 2011 Cape Horn
Here you will find Horn Island, the southernmost point of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, and the Americas for that matter. This is also the place you'll find the confluence of the mighty Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Wildlife is abundant, and our onboard naturalist will be on hand to point out the highlights of this diverse ecosystem.
Day 13: 8th February 2011 At sea
Day 15: 10th February 2011 Puerto Madryn, Argentina
Puerto Madryn is a popular Argentinean port of call, located on the Golfo Nuevo. The area's abundant wildlife has been attracting visitors since Darwin spent months here studying the varied animal life. Watch for whales, penguins, sea lions and elephant seals in the gulf and on the nearby Peninsula Valdes.
Day 16: 11th February 2011 At sea
Day 17: 12th February 2011 Montevideo, Uruguay
This walking city is a haven of open-air cafés and European-inspired squares. Don't miss the Museo de Gaucho, a fascinating look into the cowboy life, South American style. Even though Montevideo is surrounded by a continuous stretch of white-sand beach, you're never more than a taxi ride away from a museum, art gallery or a theater.
Day 18: 13th February 2011 Buenos Aires, Argentina
Birthplace of the Tango, and known as the Paris of the South, this cosmopolitan business center is rich in charm and culture. There are opera houses, museums and cathedrals that rival any in Europe. Puerto Madero, the city's oldest port, has been transformed into a vibrant restaurant and boutique center.
