Day 2: 17th May 2011 Calgary to Lake Louise

Enjoy a full day tour; highlights include the Hoodoos rock formation, Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive overlooking the Bow River Valley. A stop will be made at Sulphur Mountain Gondola for breathtaking views. Your tour ends in Lake Louise with an overnight stay at the Fairmont Chateau. Dinner included

Day 3: 18th May 2011 Lake Louise to Banff

Board your chartered motorcoach for a tour through Yoho National Park. Additional stops will be made at the picturesque Moraine Lake and Takakkaw Falls. Afternoon is at your leisure; visit the Banff National Park or Museum or soak up the mineral pools at Upper Hot Springs! Overnight at Brewster’s Mountain Lodge or similar.

Day 4: 19th May 2011 Banff to Kamloops

Board the Rocky Mountaineer (Redleaf Service). Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes, through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 5: 20th May 2011 Kamloops to Vancouver

Your journey continues on the Rocky Mountaineer towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. Today, you will see a dramatic change in scenery; through winding river canyons and pristine forests to the coast and Cascade Mountains, and the lush green fields of Fraser River Valley. Your rail journey ends in Vancouver for an overnight stay at Cascadia Hotel & Suites or similar.

Day 6: 21st May 2011 Vancouver City Tour

Arrive Time: 10:30:00 Depart Time: 14:30:00

A city tour will take you through Gastown and North America’s second largest Chinatown. Visit the world famous 1,000 acre Stanley Park and stop at Totem Poles and Prospect Point. Tour along English Bay Beach and up to Little Mountain, Vancouver’s highest view point. After your tour, your motorcoach will return you to your Vancouver hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: 22nd May 2011 Transfer from Hotel to Ship

Day 8: 23rd May 2011 Inside Passage (Cruising)

This is one of the most famously beautiful passages in all the world. It features virtually everything you came to Alaska hoping to see, including rain forests, glaciers, fjords and white-capped peaks. All of which create a setting that's perfect for viewing whales and sea lions.

Day 9: 24th May 2011 Icy Strait, Alaska

Fifty miles west of Juneau and at the mouth of Glacier Bay, lies historic Icy Strait Point. Travelers have the unique opportunity to experience Tlingit culture, superior wildlife viewing opportunities and years of Alaskan history.

Day 10: 25th May 2011 Hubbard Glacier, Alaska

At the head of Yakutat Bay and 6 miles wide, Hubbard Glacier is the longest tidewater glacier in North America. Begins its 76-mile journey to the sea on the slopes of Mount Logan, the tallest mountain in Canada and part of the largest non-polar ice field in the world. Visit the ice caves and examine the extraordinary blue ice formations at the face of the glacier, but be careful, blue ice is said to mean that the glacier is actively calving.

Day 11: 26th May 2011 Juneau, Alaska

The capital of Alaska is a cosmopolitan frontier town, dominated by mountains and fjords. Nature walks, sport fishing and scenic bike rides await you in this stunning place. Experience the grandeur of Alaska, as you soar above glaciers, waterfalls, rainforests and blue meltwater pools, on an exhilarating flight-seeing tour. Go in search of Humpback whales, porpoises, sea lions, seals and eagles on specially designed quiet boats.

Day 12: 27th May 2011 Ketchikan, Alaska

Ketchikan, a picturesque waterfront village, is the ancestral home of Alaska's Tlingit Indians. Here you'll discover lush rainforests and the Misty Mjords National Monument. Explore the scenery on a jet boat, go see kayaking or sport fishing. Board an Indian-style 37-foot canoe and paddle through a secluded lake, scanning the shore for wildlife and learning of the natural and Indian history of this breathtaking area.

Day 13: 28th May 2011 Inside Passage (Cruising)

From its sparkling skyline to beautiful vistas of Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains, the city of Vancouver offers incredible sights. In the historic Gastown district, explore crooked cobblestone alleys filled with galleries, shops and eateries. Stroll along the seawall in Stanley Park and watch ships sail under Lion's Gate Bridge.
