The Brandenburg Gate, fashionable Unter den Linden and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum will provide some powerful memories.

The Hermitage, and its outstanding art collection, the Peter & Paul Fortress, St Isaac’s Cathedral, the battleship Aurora, whose guns signalled the start of the 1917 revolution, all vie for your attention in this city on the banks of the Neva River.
