The cost of fuel has already been calculated in your cruise price as quoted, however, as per your Booking Terms and Conditions, the price of your cruise can vary due to changes which include the cost of fuel. This is fairly irregular and please be reassured that we will contact you in advance should further payment be required.
Health and Vaccinations
Depending on your cruise itinerary and ports of call, you may require a vaccination. As regulations can and do change frequently, we advise you contact your local GP or National Health Service at least 12 weeks prior to travelling to discuss your personal healthcare requirements. You can also obtain further information by visiting the Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad website www.masta.org
You will most probably be tempted to try different food or local delicacies so remember to exercise care. Please remember to drink plenty of water whilst on holiday, especially when in a warm climate.
Insurance
Please note Children under 12 are free when travelling with a TGIC insured adult (not necessarily a parent, just an adult who is insured through TGIC). Children 13-17 are ½ the 18-65 premium when travelling with a tgic insured adult.
If a child (under 18) is travelling without a TGIC insured adult then the full 18-65 premium applies. It is important that an adult (over 18) purchases the policy on the child's behalf as under 18's cannot legally enter into a contract.
For example, if there is an adult and a child under 12 travelling together and they both have TGIC insurance then the child's policy is free. If there is an adult and a child aged 16 travelling and they both have tgic insurance then the child is ½ the 18-65 premium. If there is an adult and a child under 18 (0-17) travelling and the adult has insurance elsewhere, then the full 18-65 premium should be charged for the child. The adult must purchase the insurance for the child in this scenario.
Laundry
All ships have a payable laundry or dry cleaning services available.

Smoking Policy
There are designated smoking areas onboard all ships as we understand this is important for those who do and do not smoke. This ensures the safety and comfort for all passengers and your co-operation is very much appreciated.
Solo Travellers
(We have complimentary exclusive offers for Solo Travellers)
Cruising is a wonderful experience and is ideal for single travellers as it is an easy way to meet other people in a safe and secure environment. Not only are you invited to share your dining table with fellow passengers but many cruise lines also organise cocktail parties for single travellers.
When looking for cabins for sole occupancy the majority of prices have an additional supplement. This means single travellers end up paying nearly the same amount as two people travelling together.
Here at Reader Offers we regularly research a variety of cruises exclusively for single travellers. Due to our strong relationship with various cruise lines, we are pleased to recommend a collection of offers which have low or no single supplement. This enables more choices to be available at affordable prices.
To discuss your requirements or for more information about our current Solo Traveller offers please call 0845 458 8909 or e-mail solotravellers@readeroffers.travel Please advise your Reader Offers cruise consultant should you wish to receive monthly Solo Traveller offers by post or alternatively visit our website www.readeroffers.travel/solo
Special Requests
If you have any special requests, please call us on 0845 458 1697 (Option 3)
Tickets
When will I receive my travel tickets?
We normally issue you with your tickets at least 10 -14 days before your travel date. Please call us on 0845 458 1697 (Option 3) if you have not received these within 10 days of departure. Late bookers may be required to collect their tickets at the port.
E-Tickets
A number of operators including Cunard, P&O, Princess, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises Lines have recently introduced ‘e-tickets’ which allows clients to access and print their own travel documentation online. Here at Reader Offers Ltd, our policy is to do this for you so you don’t have to do any of the work. If you receive an e-mail from your cruise line telling you that your tickets are ready to print, simply leave this for us to take care of.
I live overseas, will I still be sent my tickets?
Yes, we can send these by ‘International Special Delivery’ to you or these can be e-mailed upon request. Please call us on 0845 458 1697 (Option 3) to arrange receipt via e-mail or if you would like to collect these upon arrival at the airport.
Tips and Gratuities
Are these included in the cost of my holiday?
These are not included in the cost of your holiday by most cruise lines. Please call 0870 7276910 for a brochure for further details.
Transfers
If transfers are not included in the cost of your holiday and you would like assistance in arranging this, please call us on 0845 458 1697 (Option 3) and we will be happy to help.
Travel Insurance
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, a condition of your booking is that you arrange suitable travel insurance cover for your individual requirements. Please note that we are unable to release your travel tickets unless you have provided us with this important information as cruise lines understandably will not carry uninsured passengers.
What if I am having difficulty obtaining travel insurance?
Please do not worry, a number of our clients have experienced a similar problem and we have a list of companies who we suggest you consider. Please call us on 0845 458 1697 (Option 3) to discuss further.
Do I need to disclose my pre-existing medical conditions?
Yes, it is very important to ensure your travel insurers are aware of any pre-existing medical conditions you may have so they can adjust your policy cover accordingly. If you do not disclose this important information at the time of taking travel insurance, you will not be covered for any treatment you may require whilst on holiday.
It is essential to disclose this information so you can travel with peace of mind. If you have bought Travel and General Insurance (TGIC) policy, please call their Health Check department on 0845 408 0585.

Can I upgrade my flight seats or cabin and who should I contact?
We will be happy to check availability and prices for you by calling us on 0845 458 1697 (Option 3).
Upon Your Return
What should I expect to receive from you when I have returned home?
We are not only dedicated to ensure you have a wonderful holiday but we also welcome your valued feedback. We will be sending you a Welcome Home letter and questionnaire card within 14 days of your return and would appreciate it if you would complete and return this to us.
We are constantly reviewing our service levels and your input will be considered at our regular review meetings.
